 Hello Everybody! Welcome to my blog on digital economy news and updates and follow me along as we dive into it the digital economy world.  I would like to make a little introduction to myself first. My Name is Hazel and I'm currently a final year student in a level 8 business degree in Ireland and I'm specialising in Human Resource Management. I undertook a block of work placement for my degree and i worked in the Human Resource department in Bausch and Lomb Ireland. I would have encountered some digital platforms while i was on my placement. The one i mainly used was Core portal and Core HR.  Core HR was a system which allowed us to search employee details we could look up their personal profiles and also look at their clocks to help with any absenteeism issues.
